Palcrypt encrypts and decrypts any file using the popular AES 128-bit encryption algorithm. It's very easy to use and completely integrated into the Windows shell. To lock a file just right-click it, choose the option "Encrypt file" and -after the Palcrypt window is shown- type a password and hit the enter button.
Palcrypt is very "light" to run, it supports a lot of popular cryptography algorithms (MD5, SHA1, AES, Blowfish, Triple-DES, RC5) and compines them in order to achive better encryption standards. In opposition to other software of this nature, Palcrypt is pretty handy when it comes to big file encryption as its code is optimized to encrypt really big files as quick as possible.
Palcrypt is primarily created to be used for easy & quick single-file encryption. Users new to cryptographic software will find it pretty easy to use as it integrates into Windows, but it also has all of the options that an advanced user would expect
